I wasn't able to make an image due to my computer freezing and the keyboard not being able to work since I use Print screen. However I have not suffered from any file loss of any kind. The laptop is powered back on now because i waited for its battery to run out. I don't think that would be the source of the problem. The only recent hardware change I've made (if you count it as hardware) is adding an external hard drive. It just happened out of the blue, it's done this before. The problems started while I was playing a game. Someone checked an error thing on a dell support forum and it said something about the BIOS yet he said he had a fully updated BIOS. It seems to have been going on for quite a while.
